Sensor for LNG storage tank rollover

Sensor for LNG storage tank rollover

LNG stands for Liquefied Natural Gas, which is a liquid produced by cooling natural gas mainly composed of methane.
Natural gas becomes liquid when cooled to extremely low temperature at about-162°C, and its volume is reduced to about 1/600 of that of gas. Natural gas is transported and stored in this state.
A thermometer is used to measure the temperature of the storage tank and the surrounding piping.

Features

The sensor for LNG storage tank roll-over is a sensor for monitoring whether liquefied natural gas vaporizes abnormally in the storage tank.
It monitors the temperature distribution in the height direction of the storage tank, and requires accuracy and stability at cryogenic temperatures.

With our JCSS certified calibration techniques in a wide range of temperatures, we are able to provide not only JIS Class-A sensors at the liquid-oxygen boiling point (-182.954°C) and liquid-nitrogen boiling point (-195.798°C), but also high-precision sensors that satisfy the special precision demanded by customers.
We are also able to respond to a variety of customer testing requirements, including the acquisition of flameproof certification for special multi-to-long sheaths and the response to pressure tests in large high-pressure tanks owned by our company.
