When two dissimilar metal or alloy conductors are connected together to form a closed circuit and the two junctions are kept at different temperatures, thermal electromotive force(EMF) is generated at the temperature gradient zone along the conductors length in the circuit. The temperature sensor using this property is so called “Thermocouple”.
Thermocouple using industries are equipped following features compared with other temperature sensor.
1. Fast response time( Lag error is relatively low)
2. Temperature measuring range from -270℃ to 2300℃ if appropriate element selected.
3. Measureable temperature where specific point or narrow area.
4. Easily information processing such as Measurement・Adjust・Amplify・Control・Convert due to temperature detected as EMF.
5. Compared other temperature sensor, it relatively affordable and easily available.
