Embedded Sensor for Measurement of Actual Temperature of Part Heat Treatment

To determine the heat treatment conditions of metal parts, the surface temperature and internal temperature are measured as the actual temperature. Metal parts are grooved or EDM-drilled, sheathed thermocouples are embedded in them, and the temperature of the body is measured. In engine development tests, sheath thermocouples are embedded in casing components and other components to measure engine temperature during combustion.

Features

Our embedded sensors for measuring the temperature of heat-treated components use a small-diameter sheath thermocouple, which has a small heat capacity and is easy to route, in order to minimize the measurement error of the temperature sensor attached to the component. It is fixed to metal parts by laser welding, brazing, or caulking.
