Carbon dioxide(CO2), which is one of the causes of global warming, is emitted when fossil fuels such as petroleum and coal are used as energy.In recent years, aiming to be carbon neutral, CO2 has been separated and collected from emitted gases and stored underground.This is called CCS(Carbon dioxide Capture and Storage).The maximum amount of CO2 that can be stored underground is said to be 200 years of the current annual amount of emissions, and this is the key to achieving carbon neutrality.

Features

Deep underground reservoirs are subject to high pressure. The cables for temperature sensors, pressure sensors, and various sensors must be robust and long. We have developed a metal-sheathed long MI cable that can withstand high pressure conditions.
Conventional MI cable manufacturing methods have limited cable lengths. To solve this issue, we are developing long MI cables with seamless length 5,000m.
