There are several methods of disposal at garbage disposal plants, but the most popular treatment method is incineration at stoker furnaces. A stoker furnace burns refuse efficiently by moving forward and backward through a grate (stoker) arranged in steps.
In recent years, waste must be completely burned to reduce the generation of dioxins, and incineration temperatures are becoming increasingly high.

Sensors for use in stoker furnaces, which are becoming increasingly hot, are required to be heat-resistant and corrosion-resistant. We propose a sensor with a protective tube that is more heat-resistant and corrosion-resistant than ordinary metal protective tubes by applying a special calorization treatment to the surface of the metal protective tube, as well as a temperature sensor with a SiC protective tube that is superior in high-temperature strength and resistant to thermal shock.
