■Model 37703 Low Temperature Furnace
Model 37703 Low Temperature Furnace is designed specifically to realize and maintain the freeze plateau of Indium, Tin and Zinc Fixed Point Cells, for calibration of thermometers on ITS-90. The aluminum furnace core, into which the fixed point cell is inserted, is heated by the 3-Zone heaters in noninductive winding controlled individually by the high-resolution controllers (zero-cross control) using platinum thermocouple, and this provides a very low thermal gradient along the core length and low noise at calibration. The variable set point over-temperature trip function can prevent a temperature runaway of the furnace.

■Model 37702 High Temperature Furnace
Model 37702 High Temperature Furnace is designed specifically to realize and maintain the freeze plateau of Zinc, Aluminum and Silver Fixed Point Cells, for calibration of thermometers on ITS-90. The furnace core is a specially designed heat pipe, which provides a very low thermal gradient along the core length. The heat pipe is heated by radiant heat generated from the heater unit in noninductive winding, which is controlled by the high-resolution controller (zero-cross control) using type R thermocouple. The variable set point over-temperature trip can prevent a temperature runaway of the furnace.

High-Purity Metal Fixed Point Cells
These cells were jointly developed with National Institute of Advance Science and Technology (AIST/NMIJ) to realize the defining points of ITS-90. Cells are designed specifically to realize the liquid-solid equilibrium of certain high-purity metal elements. Cells are available as sealed or open cells. All cells contain the high-purity thermometric metals in graphite crucibles, surrounded by an envelope of pure fused quartz. Sealed cells are completely enclosed in quartz and filled with an argon gas, which assumes a pressure of one standard pressure (101325 Pa) at the freeze point. Sealed cells are consequently protected against contamination and the influence of ambient pressure, and are easy to handle, as there is no need to prepare an inert gas supply-exhaust system. A series of Model 37000 are sealed cells, and can be used for the calibration of SPRTs.

Standard Platinum Resistance Thermometer(BB(S) 962/2.5)
BB(S) 962/2.5 is the Standard Platinum Resistance Thermometer jointly developed with National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST/NMIJ) as an interpolation device for measurements from +660℃ to approximately +962℃. Employing a sensing element with a single helix coil structure (Japan Pat. No.3380523) provides superior stability at high temperature and vibration resistance. Adopting a sapphire coil frame and a sapphire sheath has improved both electrical insulation and the contamination of the sensing element.
